Hierarchy exercises
Hierarchy 1
In bold or contrasting weight. The heading was immediately bolded as its the summary of the information given from the design. In addition I bolded the word, design because that is the ideology you would be working upon in order to find the perfect concept. In addition it was placed vertically. Which is why I also bolded the tagline to make readers hooked.
Hierarchy 2
Scaling is the sizing of objects. The scaling was mostly used upon the heading and tagline. As both are one of the most important aspects when attracting the readers. Despite it being bigger than the other text it also holds another advantage. They are flipped vertically, thus making them the first sight when looking at the design.
Hierarchy 3
I approach this design with a more minimal concept. I used the gray color upon the heading and three lines of information. I chose to put the time and place on the bottom left as it would be the second thing peoples eye will have sight on. In addition since it is gray it creates a lot of contrast against the other text it attracts more so I also put the heading gray.
Hierarchy 4
With the use of the alignment tool, In order to have the heading more prominent it is the only text which is on the far right compared to the others. In addition the date was selected to be in the middle as it conveys when to get the important information. I chose to the put the tag line on the last line and to be aligned amongst the middle as it motivates the reader to join.
Hierarchy 5
With the use of the tagline and the heading, I created a border with both of the lines being uppercase. Thus, the information is being placed as a staple as its inside the border. The border creates a division between the valuable information.
Hierarchy 6
In order to develop a lot of spacing I put the heading in the middle. The heading is one of the most important values within the design. In addition I was able to make a gestalt principle known as closure. With the other lines, I established parts of a square, mostly the exterior of it.
