Gridded Concert Poster
The Weeknd was the performer I selected to depict in the concert poster. Due to their different weights and scales, I utilized the typefaces AR Bonnie and Agency Fb. I utilized the background images from the photographs, which featured a variety of weekend shots and information about the concert's sponsor and where to get tickets. I bent the scale for the headline because it was centered on the sheet. Furthermore, it wasn't scaled according to the grid. Given that knowing the date and time is essential for attending the performance, I gave it to the viewers directly below. I used the notorious artist's term, "after hours," as a kind of slogan. But even though it was positioned using the grid, its orientation was changed. The concert's location was indicated by another text box in the grid. This needs to be known because it can make it difficult for you to attend the performance. Additionally, readers won't be able to identify the place if the location has been changed due to its origin or other circumstances. The easiest way to break the grid is to position elements in ways that are non-relative to each other and don't follow a linear layout. By playing with how images and text are arranged on a page, designers can build impressive pages that ignore tradition in favor of inventiveness. Therefore I broke the grid once again for the placement of the tickets available because I altered their orientation. In addition they create a outstanding concept to attract the readers in order to make them buy tickets. When developing this concert poster, I learned various things amongst the use of a grid. It enables the designer to create proportionate and leveled work. In addition, when breaking the grid you attract contrast which I have learn during the design.
