Hierarchy On Grid

Grid #1

With the use of the gestalt principle, closure. I was able to create half a rectangle. I filled the type on the left with  placeholder text. This text was aligned to the right, in addition two type boxes went through two columns. I placed the tagline and the heading above each other, I rotated them to create contrast.

Grid #2

Only one text box is in between two columns, the heading can be seen placed on the left of the text box in order to create symmetry with alignment of the above texts. All pieces of information are around the text that goes through two columns as it will pop out due to the contrast. The tagline is placed in the readable fashion, as people could understand it better.

Grid #3

The information regarding the date was directed to be on the top right of the design, this gives it a aspect of displacement. Making peoples first thing they see as it is also perceived as important. In addition, once again the tagline and heading are rotated and next to each other.

Grid #4

The information unlike the other pieces of designs are placed in proximity to each other. They are altered to make a shape similar to the 1st grid, a rectangle. In order to fill up the white space I used various type boxes with placeholder text.

Grid #5

I believe that this design captures the gestalt principle closure more than the first. I placed placeholder text on the top and right to create a border, and it expresses the middle dramatically. Thus, I added the information in the middle while also being altered.
